Greco

A red dressed like a white.

There are animals in order to defend themself imitate the likeness of dangerous predators. In the same way, the Greco disguises itself as a red wine thanks to the richness in polyphenols and to the large content of the peel, these characteristics pose great challenges, with each harvest and make it a difficult predator to tame, to offer a long- lived wine, mineral and net. A wine compared to which you can not be indecisive.

In love, we look for the soul mate. To find love in the Greco you only need to exchange a few letters: the soul mate are the ancient vines that came from Greece more than 2000 years ago. A wine whose roots go deep into history, whose flavors was already told by Catone and Virgilio.

Brilliant straw yellow colour, the aroma is complex, reminiscent of orange blossom, ripe fruit, walnuts and hazelnuts, with light hints of anise and honey. On the palate it is full and round, full-bodied and elegant, without harshness, very structured such as to define it as “the reddest of whites”. It evolves positively over the years.

Iideal with important first courses such as risotto with porcini mushrooms, baked cannelloni, medium-fat fish dishes. It also goes well with fresh cheeses and white meats.
